‘I WENT TO KATOLONI MOUNTAIN AND PRAYED FOR A HUSBAND’ HOW MERCY MASIKA MET HER MAN

Celebrated singer Mercy Masika has disclosed how she first met her husband David Muguro. Speaking in an interview with media personality Daniel ‘Churchill’ Ndambuki, the singer said she met her husband while performing at a wedding. 

David was the cameraman and after the event, he approached Mercy and invited her to perform at his wedding when he gets married before they exchanged contacts. “We met at a wedding, I was singing and he was on the camera and after the wedding he said ‘please come and sing in my wedding when I get married’ and so I gave him my number because he looked serious,” she said. 

Mercy says David sent her devotional messages that later turned out to be prophesies. “For me the devotional messages got prophetic because you know someone might send you a message and it is what you’re going through at the moment,” added the singer. 

After some time, Mercy went to Katoloni mountain for prayer and asked God for a husband after which she met David a week late and it grew into a relationship. “I went to Katoloni, a prayer mountain, and I prayed for a husband, the following week we met and we connected and a year later we got married. First date and he was direct, ‘I want you for me’, we sat together for three hours and I knew he was the one. I told my mum and then he eventually came home and everybody liked him,” she said.
