WILLIS RABURU URGES BLOGGERS TO ADDRESS HIM AS A FATHER OF TWO

By  |

Media personality Willis Raburu has issued a statement saying he would like to be addressed as ‘a father of two‘ and not ‘a new father‘. In his statement, the TV presented said he noticed some blogs address him as ‘a new father‘ disregarding his late daughter, Adana

It has however come to my attention while reading some of them, that I am constantly referred to as ‘father of one’. This however not the case. As many of you know I lost my daughter Adana. For those who have gone through such a loss, you know that it never leaves you,” said Raburu

Raburu added that he is still mourning his late daughter, and he wishes she was alive, “Society often, though not always, tends to annihilate the man, make him devoid of feeling because ‘mean out not to feel’. While the last one part is true, what is also true is that we feel. That I feel pain each day, that I still cry, that I still wish she was here. I honour her,” he added.

The media personality advised blogs and people who know him to refer him as a father of two, however, it is okay if one desires to refer him otherwise. “Recently I got an amazing young boy. I see heaven each time I look at him. He is truly my heart. I am therefore without a shadow of doubt a father of two. not a new father. It’s a humble request not a demand, should you continue to refer me to otherwise it’s ok. I know my truth,” he added.

In January 2020, Raburu took a break off his duties to mourn the passing of his daughter. He stated that his ex-wife, Marya Prude got into labour to deliver but had complications, “There is no easier way to say this. God called our little baby angel, Adana, home. We got into labour but there was some complications and a clot so we pushed out a stillbirth! My angel is on the other side looking over us and we will do her proud.

My heart is completely broken, she is such a beautiful baby, now she is a beautiful angel. I want to thank you all for the support during this time for the comfort and the love, for getting Marya fit and ready, she did well in labour. We are trying to be strong but we are absolutely devastated.”
