REALITY STAR PENDO OPENS UP ABOUT UNDERGOING INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION SURGERY

Former reality star Stacy Vugutsa, alias Pendo has opened up on her childhood, education background, and early life. In a wide-ranging interview with Cheptoek Boyo on Buzz Central, the former Nairobi Diaries star, who is also a singer, stated that she studied at St Mary’s School in Nairobi, but sat for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in Hill School Kakamega.

While doing her KCPE, Pendo became ill from intestinal obstruction, a condition in which digested material is prevented from passing normally through the bowel. Due to the ailment, she underwent two surgeries,  “As I was doing my KCPE, I got sick and I had  to have surgery. My parents opted to keep me close to them for careful monitoring. My intestines coiled, and had two major surgeries in two months. Today, I have a large scar on my tummy all the way down,” she confessed. She later received a calling letter from Lugulu Girls High School and Kenya High School and decided to go to Kenya High School, to be close to her parent’s in Nairobi.  

On her family background, Pendo narrated that her father and mother parted ways when she was five years old. After the divorce, the parents went separate ways to new entanglements that resulted in other children, who Pendo says she is close to her other siblings and according to her she has 13 siblings.
