LILLIAN NG’ANG’A SET TO LAUNCH 2ND BOOK AFTER RELEASING HER MEMOIR ‘MADAM FIRST LADY’

Lillian Ng’ang’a has announced she will soon launch her second book after releasing her memoir Madam First Lady.

The former Machakos first lady made the announcement online, “It was a pleasure last month to be part of Columbia Global Centre’s “Nairobi African Book Talk Series” discussing #Madamfirstladymemoir. It’s sureal. I am an Author. Never conclude that you have no story to tell. Your life is your story. Tell it loudly. Next book loading. #carpediem.”

In February, Ng’ang’a announced she was working on her first book after leaving her position as Machakos first lady. “I am delighted to give you a sneak peek of something special I have been working on for the last two months. #MadamFirstLady! This mini-memoir that I cherish is a book about owning my story, taking control of the narrative, and telling my truth. 

From being catapulted into the limelight amidst a lot of chatter, to achieving a lot under the County First Lady’s Office to the eventual “stepping down” from the position. From my heart to yours!” Ng’ang’a wrote on Instagram.
