LARRY MADOWO LANDS NEW ROLE AT CNN AS THE HOST OF AFRICAN VOICES CHANGEMAKERS

CNN correspondent Larry Madowo has landed a new role at CNN.

In addition to reporting, he will be hosting African Voices Changermakers, “Some personal professional news: my role at CNN is expanding. I’m the new host of @cnni African Voices Changemakers. I was featured on the show in 2017 so it’s surreal to be taking over. Tell me your stories.”

In May 2021,  Madowo left BBC to take a new position with CNN at the Network’s Nairobi-based correspondent, “I’ve enjoyed reporting from the U.S and around the world, but it’s a real privilege to return to covering Africa at such a critical time in Kenya and around the continent.

I have long admired CNN International’s award-winning coverage, and I’m honoured to be joining such a talented team. I look forward to sharing the full spectrum of life in one of the most dynamic parts of the worlds with CNN’s global audience.” Said Madowo.
