VETERAN ACTOR KEN AMBANI SWORN IN AS MOMBASA CEC

Veteran actor Kenneth Ambani was on Wednesday sworn in as a Mombasa County Executive Committee Member (CECM). 

The actor who is popularly known as Baraza takes up his new role as Mombasa County’s Public Service, Administration, Youth, Gender, Social Services, and Sports CECM. “Out of several million Kenyans, you appointed me to be among your 10 CECMs. I don’t take it for granted sir! Thank you. Ready to serve Mombasa, so help me God,” he said.

In January, through an executive order, Governor Nassir appointed a 10-member Cabinet. Ambani took to his social media to thank him, “I offer my heartfelt gratitude to HE The Governor of Mombasa county and his appointed recruitment and selection panel on my nomination to serve as CEC-Public Service Administration, Youth, Gender, Sports and Social Services.

It’s a great honour bestowed upon me to serve the people of our great County and for that, I say thank you! Sir, you can count on my unending support to ensure that your vision for this great County is achieved. God bless Kenya. God bless Mombasa.
