KOT REACT TO MISS TRUDY AIRPORT ARREST (VIDEO)

By  |

Content creator Miss Trudy caused a stir on Twitter after she shared a video of her in an altercation with security staff at Moi International Airport in Mombasa.

The lifestyle content creator claimed that, while attempting to film content at the airport, the security team arrested her and her colleague. “We got arrested for filming at the Airport! This is getting out of control! We have a right to create content without intimidation!” she tweeted.

According to Trudy, content creators have a right to create content without intimidation. Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) reacted to her video.

Stephen Mutoro: Someone please educate Miss Trudy; She got illegal content, Content creators not above the law, Airports are fragile security protected areas. Their filming must be authorised, She has no control over third parties using ‘her content’, Art.24 CoK limits her ‘rights’.

Edgar Wabwire: KOT are REAL. Miss Trudy posted here saying that she was arrested filming at the airport thinking that KOT will be on her side the way her Instagram followers are but guess what, KOT are cooking her. I understand why most celebrities avoid this App!

Bravin Yuri: Miss Trudy, you can’t go to shoot content at the entrance and block it so as not to allow other people to use it comfortably. You could’ve also de-escalate the situation without the internet. You’d have just respected other people’s jobs & given way. Shoot away from the entrance.

Mistress: What in the entitlement is this? Miss Trudy was blocking an entrance but didn’t want to move yet the gentleman was polite to her. Tengeneza airport yako ukicreate content hapo.

Muthoni: I don’t know if it’s just me but sometimes I avoid watching videos or seeing things I know will be cringe, like that Miss Trudy airport video. I already feel the second hand embarrassment without even watching it.
