TV personality Willis Raburu has quit his job at Citizen TV after 13 years with the station.

Raburu made the announcement on social media saying this will be his last week with the company, “I have made the decision to leave Royal Media Services and it’s been a tough decision, but they have been so gracious to me. From the time I have tendered my resignation in the beginning of June to now it has been an amazing transition. This marks my last week. My last day will be 30th of June 2023 and it is definitely going to be a long week. So this week, you’re going to see a series of goodbyes.’

Adding, “Over the past few weeks I had the opportunity to reflect on a lot of things concerning my life of course and what has become a general theme for me, especially in this month of June.  I’m grateful to you, who has worked with me in all these 13 years. I’m grateful to my colleagues and to the opportunity to come out and do what I love. I have learned a lot and I have experienced a lot and it has allowed me to grow in my mind and my appreciation of people and different attitudes.”

Raburu who started as an intern in 2010, says he is releasing a book, “I have put all of this all of these 13 years in a book I call the book undefined. Because I have been able to do several things. And it’s available now on pre order.”

He also revealed his plans to rest, “I’m gonna rest for now. I want to take a breather. Step back, look at everything, you know, share the knowledge I have on the book and also continue with my master’s that I’m currently doing at USIU where of course I hope to graduate.
