In a recent revelation, Tokodi shared that he met with Charles after completing high school, “I met Charlie when I was 19, straight from Changez, Lenana School. National School.(it’s important you know I’m smart, just kidding. I’m not) …… anyway, Charlie, @ojiamboainea, @vincent_mbayah, @michael_m_jones, @kamichajk, @maqbull, @judynyawira, @patgichinga just to mention a few, were my first Bullies, sorry, I meant teachers,.Charlie on the other hand was something else, the guy could act, sing, play instruments, multi-talented!”

Tokodi further added that he gained confidence from Ouda’s mentorship, “Charlie in Makutano and knowzone, you taught me how to be confident with my acting! In Groove theory you taught me how to be confident with my singing! Can’t imagine how many people you’ve inspired along the way. Here’s to every toast we made, every encouraging word you ever said and the lessons you shared. I want to say I’ll see you again but deep down I want to say, I slap the shit out of you when I see you. Till we meet again bro.”
