World record holder and Olympic champion Beatrice Chebet was honoured over the weekend with a beautiful baby shower, as friends, family, and fellow athletics stars gathered to celebrate the imminent arrival of her first child.

The 10,000m and 5,000m world record holder, who has dominated global track events, traded the roar of the stadium crowd for the quiet rhythm of a heartbeat growing within. The elegant celebration, held over the weekend, brought together some of Kenya’s biggest sporting names, including multiple Olympic champion Faith Kipyegon, who joined other top athletes to shower the expectant mother with love and gifts.
