Speaking out against the claims made by his wife, Kebaso said his commitment is to his family  “As a businessman in the furniture sector, I know how important women are in the decision-making process of furnishing a home,” Kebaso said. “In many cases, they decide what and where to buy from. Therefore, anything that makes me look like trash to Kenyan women is a plus for my enemies. I also know that women are the most decisive voters in this country and I have big political dreams.

Kebaso stated that the era of men remaining silent in the face of reputational attacks often referred to locally as kukaa kimwanaume is over. “If anyone is dragging my reputation to hell, I will rain hellfire on them,” he stated. “I will come with a very big file and I always have my evidence stacked up. Even if it’s the last Vampire Diaries I do before I die; man oh man, I will fight for my name. This name is the most valuable asset I have.

The businessman maintained hat he has been a dedicated family man, stating: “When I look back, I can rank myself as a good father and an excellent husband.

Addressing the impact of the allegations on his extended family, Kebaso noted that he is aware of the potential intention to make him look ridiculous to his new in-laws. “I am grateful that they have been patient and understanding to me.

Kebaso also addressed his political opponents directly, suggesting that the controversy may ultimately backfire at the ballot box. “The political opponents who are trying to use this as a weapon should know that politics is a different ball game,” he warned. “You may think Morara is losing votes, then realise that voters are reading this and feeling more confident about voting for him. So don’t celebrate yet. Ningoje kwa ground, you will see how I will move like a whirlwind, you will not believe. A man never stays down.
