SHAKIRA INVITES UGANDA’S GHETTO KIDS TO PERFORM AT FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL SHOW
Global music superstar Shakira has extended a life-changing invitation to Uganda’s renowned Triplets Ghetto Kids to join her on stage during the halftime show at the FIFA World Cup Final, scheduled to take place on July 19, 2026, in the United States.
The Triplets Ghetto Kids is an NGO dedicated to using music, dance, and drama as tools to support disadvantaged, street, and orphaned children. The invitation marks a historic moment for the Ugandan dance group, offering them an international platform to showcase their extraordinary talent.
In a video announcement, Shakira shared her excitement about the upcoming performance. “Hey everyone, so I’ve been seeing amazing creations to ‘Dai Dai,’ the official World Cup song, and I’m gonna need dancers for the halftime show at the finals,” Shakira said.

“I want that moment to be special to all of us. I want it to be unforgettable. That’s why I’ve decided to invite as many of you as I can to dance with me at the finals. So, I’ve already invited the Ghetto Kids from Uganda, but I really, really would like to see all of your creations and your videos, so keep sending them, because I’m gonna be watching.“
The Triplets Ghetto Kids have gained international fame over the years for their energetic and creative dance performances.
