Award-winning Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami has announced her decision to go separate ways with her partner, Arrow Bwoy, following a difficult period of being on and off for the last one and a half years.

In a statement, Mukami shared that the decision was not easy for either of them, especially as they are not only life partners but also parents to young children. “As a mother, this transition has affected me deeply emotionally, mentally, and personally,” Nadia said. “Balancing motherhood, healing, work, and public life while trying to remain strong for my children has been one of the hardest experiences I have faced.”

Nadia, who has always been open about her desire for a family, shared the emotional toll of navigating postpartum recovery, a new baby, a toddler, business demands, career pressures, and public image all alongside a failing relationship. “I have hoped and prayed that things would have been different for the last 1 and half years as we have been on and off,” she wrote. “Being a lady that always wanted family, I fought sooo hard but I guess I lost.

The mother of two confirmed that both she and Arrow Bwoy remain committed to co-parenting. “Anyways, despite the changes in our relationship, we remain committed to co-parenting with love, respect, and maturity for the sake of our children’s wellbeing and future. They deserve peace, stability, and unconditional love from both parents.

She concluded by thanking her fans and supporters: “Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me through both the beautiful and difficult moments of my life and career.
