Tanasha Donna to Take Legal Action Over Claims of KSh3 Million BBL Debt

Singer Tanasha Donna has denied allegations that she borrowed US$26,000 (approximately KSh3.3 million) from businessman Madollar Mapesa to finance a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure and failed to repay the funds.

The mother of one took to Instagram Stories and dismissed the claims as entirely fabricated. “I have NEVER met this individual in my life. I do not know him. I have never borrowed money from him. I have never had any financial dealings with him whatsoever.”

Challenging Mapesa to back his claims, she wrote, “He keeps referring to ‘receipts.’ Please, POST THEM. Show the transaction, the agreement, the communication, the meeting – anything that proves I personally borrowed money from you. You cannot, because it never happened.“

Tanasha further accused him of using her name for clout, “This is not the first time people have attempted to use my name and public image to manufacture stories for attention and clout. I ignored similar nonsense years ago, but I will not continue allowing people to make serious allegations about me simply because I am a public figure.“

She confirmed that legal action is underway, “This matter is now being documented and escalated through the appropriate legal and law-enforcement channels.”

Addressing Mapesa directly, she added, “If you are going to publicly accuse me of owing you money, then publicly provide the evidence. Otherwise, stop using my name and image to spread false information. I have never met you. I do not know you. I do not owe you.“

In a follow-up post, she fired a final warning, “One more thing: repeating a false allegation multiple times does not suddenly make it true. I’ve seen the posts, the reposts and the attempts to turn a completely fabricated story into ‘news. Everything is being saved and documented. Years ago, I watched people create stories around my name because controversy gets clicks. I chose silence then. Silence should never be mistaken for truth or an admission.”

“If there are genuine ‘receipts,’ produce them. Not stories. Not captions. Evidence. Until then, I will allow the appropriate authorities and my legal representatives to handle this matter. See you in court.“
