DON’T LOOK AT INSTAMARRIAGES AND ASSUME IT’S ALL BUTTERFLIES REVEREND KATHY KIUNA WARNS COUPLES

Eccentric reverend, singer and author Kathy Kiuna is married to Bishop Allan Kiuna and they’ve been together for a while now. But what keeps their union strong? The Reverend took to social media to share what has kept them together.

She confesses that marriage is not easy, writing, “Marriage is hard work! We have to be super careful not to look at instamarriages and assume marriage is all rainbows and butterflies.”

Kathy Kiuna warns about comparing your marriage to someone else’s especially on Instagram, “Comparison is the enemy of happiness. For the married couples struggling right now and seeing instacouples drooling over each other, best believe they probably have more moments when they want to be on each other’s necks. Work it out with your spouse; forgive and forget!”

And for the single peeps, she has a word for them, stating, “For those single, prepare yourselves for the rollercoaster that is marriage, don’t bail the second it gets tough and don’t compare your marriage to Instagram poster couples. Remember, people only post their highlights. Marriage is hard work but is a beautiful union and it works!”
