ZAWADI NYONG’O CELEBRATES 40TH BIRTHDAY WITH GRANDPA

Yoga enthusiast, businesswoman and activist Zawadi Nyong’o, has turned 40 years old. She celebrates the birthday with her grandfather who’s quite strong in both health and mind.

Zawadi, who is Lupita’s older sister, took to social media to pen a powerful message to her grandpa and to herself as well as she hit 40.

For her grandpa, she wrote, “On this day 40 years ago, my Papa walked into my mother’s hospital room and said “My Zawadi!” as he welcomed his first grandchild into the world. Thank you for blessing me with this name Papa.

May the Divine Almighty use me as an instrument to share the gifts of peace, love, faith, compassion, humility, surrender, respect, unity, integrity, harmony, freedom, and healing I continue to receive with all souls I connect with in this lifetime and beyond.

You are 92 today! With all your teeth intact! Meanwhile I’ve been to the dentist several times this year. I love you. I feel you. I see you. God bless you Papa. May we celebrate many more birthdays together

She then added, “This is what #ZawadiAt40 looks like. I legit woke up and stayed like this all day. This is the only picture I have of the first day of my 40th ReBirthday.

I guess it’s time to take a shower to continue my release – washing off what no longer serves me, and stepping into this next life cycle “so fresh and so clean clean!” LOL
