Kenyan media personality Grace Msalame has marked her 40th birthday with a spiritual milestone, being baptised in the Jordan River in Israel the very waters where Jesus Christ was baptised.

The emotional ceremony, which took place during her birthday pilgrimage to the Holy Land, represents a personal recommitment to her Christian faith .

Msalame, visibly moved before entering the water, was led in the ceremony by Pastor Mizar from Nazareth. She explained that this was her second baptism, with her first having taken place at the age of 14. She described the decision as “new season” of life .

Following the baptism, Msalame shared a message of faith, quoting the Apostle Paul’s words from Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Msalame also shared that her visit to Israel was driven by a birthday wish. “This birthday I had one desire, to walk where my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ walked & in His Goodness & Kindness I arrived a day later & today we visited the empty tomb- indeed I can confirm that the tomb is EMPTY! & Jesus is ALIVE🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾,” she declared.
