KUSOMA MUHIMU: 16-YEAR-OLD RAPPER TRIO MIO BACK IN SCHOOL

Kenyan teen rapper Tri Mio reported in school on January 7. The young musician has been making waves with his hit single Cheza Kama Wewe featuring Mejja, Exray and Nellythegoon, currently, the song has over 2.1 Million views on YouTube.

Trio Mio posted photos of himself in school uniform accompanied by his mother Irma Sakwa, he wrote, “Back to school! 2020 imekuwa real, it’s been a journey yaani. Mafans mmecheza kama nyinyi na nawapenda sana manze ndo manake nawaachia kagift mserereke nayo nikiwa preps. Competition, ni time yenu ya kung’ara, no excuses now.”

Adding, “Shule muhimu #BackToSchool with my very own @irmasakwa.” Fellow musician encouraged him, Sauti Sol’s Bien said, “Soma soma sooomaaa kijanaaa.”

“Going back to school a legend,” added Nick Mutuma.
