Rhumba icon Freshley Mwamburi begun the new year with a surprise project, he released the remix of his hit song Stella Wangu.

Mwamburi has revealed his wife Dorcas Nduku did not want him to release the song, “At first, we had issues because she didn’t like that I was singing about my ex-girlfriend but she understood I was telling the truth. Before I released the song, it was a big issue, I had to release it secretly, then she heard it and she relaxed.” said Freshley.

His wife says she did not understand why he was singing about his ex-girlfriend, “Before I didn’t understand, he had not explained the song to me but when he did, I understood.  Stella Wangu was about his past and he didn’t want her back or want her to come back to him. I have no problem with Stella she was only his girlfriend,” says his wife Nduku.
