SAUTI SOL RECEIVE THEIR GRAMMY AWARDS CERTIFICATE

Kenyan band Sauti Sol have been recognised for their participation in Burna Boy’s album, Twice As Tall. The band received a certificate of recognition from Grammy Awards for their participation as producers in album. 

The album was voted Best Global Music Album in the 63rd Grammy Awards. Accepting the award virtually from Lagos, Nigeria, Burna Boy who was surrounded by his family and fans, could not hide his joy for the big achievement. “Yes oh! Yes oh! Yes oh! Africa is in the house, man!! Africa, we’re in the house, you get me? Look at me now, Grammy Award-winning Burna Boy. Thank you to everyone,” he said. 

Reacting to the win, Sauti Sol congratulated Burna Boy for the win, thanking him for the opportunity to be featured as producers, as well as writing and singing their song, Time Flies. “Congratulations @burnaboygram. Happy to be a part of the dream. Thank you for showing us it can be done! African boys on a mission,” reads post from Sauti Sol
