ANNE KANSIIME MOURNS THE DEATH OF HER FATHER 7 MONTHS AFTER BURYING MOTHER

Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime is mourning the death of her dad Kubiryaba Chris who passed away on January 27. 

The mother of one took to Instagram and shared, “Long distance relationships are really difficult. My dad has gone to be with mom. Thank you for showing me how. We are going to miss you. Long distance relationships are really difficult. My dad has gone to be with mom. Rest in peace daddy. #StillGodAboveEverything.”

Her dad will be laid to rest on Saturday January 29 at his home in Kitanga, Rukiga district. In June last year, Kansiime lost her mother Gauda Kubiryaba, “It was a joyful send off of my hero. A vigorous expression of the life she lived and the gift she was for all the people that had the blessing of encountering her,” she wrote. 

She thanked her  friends and fans for their condolences and support. “Thank you so much for all the condolence messages I received from you all my ninjas, friends and suspects. I felt all the love and support despite these covid restrictions. There’s no doubt I will see you again mama.”
