OTILE BROWN PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE MOTHER WITH NEW SONG

By  |

Popular musician Jacob Obunga, alias Otile Brown has paid tribute to his mom in a soul-stirring lyric video song dubbed Mama. In the emotional song, he thanks his mother, who passed away when he was 14, for giving birth to him, saying that she would be a proud mom if she was alive to witness how he has become successful in life.

He confesses that he dearly misses her and sometimes cries when he reminisces the painful memory that she is forever gone and he never got a chance to confess his love to her and beg for forgiveness.

Sema nami natamani anga mara moja uamke nikuone, sikuwahi kukuambia nakupenda kabla uondoke.

Tena bado nazingatia mafunzo yako; busara, heshima na upole, ingawa binadamu kazi…I miss you…yaani leo zaidi ya jana,” he sings.

The lyrics of the song were written by Mike Lollyp, mixing and mastering were done by Ihaji, and the music video was created by Neksazy from Tanzania. Otile dedicates the song to his mother, who struggled to raise them in shared custody alongside his four siblings after she separated from their father. Unfortunately, she passed away, and Otile Brown and his siblings relocated from their home in Mikindani to Kisumu, where they were brought up by his grandmother.
