By  |

DJ Mo has joined other celebrities and leaders in rebuking the Supreme Court over its ruling on the freedom of association for the LGBTQ+ community.

In a post he shared on February 28, DJ Mo asked Kenyans to stop sugarcoating things, “Maoni yangu haya, let’s stop sugarcoating this thing, haiwezi. I have kids, najua society and environment safe kwao to grow in and I know what the Bible says in Leviticus 20:13. Mawe zicome. I will build with them because that’s my stand.”

In its ruling on Friday, February 24, the Supreme Court said that the decision to deny LGBTQ members their right to register as an NGO, despite homosexuality being illegal in the nation, was discriminatory.
