MAUREEN WAITITU EXPLAINS WHY SHE DIDN’T ATTEND HER SISTER’S BURIAL

Content creator Maureen Waititu has opened up about losing her small sister Pauline Njeri who passed away on October 31 2022. 

While visiting her grave for the first time, Maureen explained why she was not able to attend her burial, “No one can ever prepare you for the dreadful news that you’ve lost a loved one and it’s been a few months now since we received the news of your demise baby sis.

Unfortunately my bro and I weren’t able to attend her final resting ceremony due to circumstances that were beyond us both. I had just had a medical procedure and I was not fit to travel and my bro couldn’t make it into the country at that time but yesterday we were finally able to say our final goodbyes.”

Waititu encouraged her fans to check up on their families, “Baby, you were here only for a while but you taught us an unforgettable lesson about family-that when it’s said and done, they’re all we’ve got. You brought us together even when you are gone. Once again, pole sana mum, dad and the entire family. Pau will never be forgotten. Always check up on your family and friends- you never know the battles they’re fighting. Remind them that no matter what, you’re there for them. Continue resting in peace baby sister.”
