‘I TRIED TO DUMP SAMIDOH SEVERAL TIMES’ KAREN NYAMU DISCLOSES

By  |

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu recently shed light on her relationship with Mugithi singer Samidoh.

In a candid conversation with Radio 47’s Emmanuel Mwashumbe and Alex Mwakideu, Nyamu said she believes her polygamous marriage will work no matter how long it takes.

Matters of the heart cannot be planned, I have tried to leave him several times but it has become difficult. I already have kids now. I hope for a polygamous family and I’m not giving up. Polygamy is legal in our country and the reason is to make sure all kids have fathers and women have husbands. It’s not a question of one leaving and someone else coming in. It is not an easy situation, it is sensitive and maybe I have not handled it well. Our situation was made worse by the fact that we are both public figures but I believe it will still work no matter how long it takes,” the senator firmly stated.

The love triangle involving Nyamu, Samidoh, and Edday Nderitu has been the most discussed topic on social media. Edday recently relocated to the US with her children and said she’s against polygamous marriage.”Lemme clarify a few things that were shared online and not accurate. I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated. I left the husband for whoever needed him more.

I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment, especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is a direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed. I need peace only, I hope in the next episode of this series my name will be left out. I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10 years,” she said.
