ACTOR MELVIN ALUSA ON RAISING 8 CHILDREN WHILE CHOOSING NOT TO UNDERGO VASECTOMY

Actor Melvin Alusa opened up to Buzz Central on the challenges of raising a big family.

In an interview with Cheptoek Boyo, the Salem actor talked about raising eight children, “I have been blessed with 8 children, five boys and 3 beautiful girls. I wanted a big family growing up. I just didn’t think it was going to be this big. Some days are really hard  and I don’t know what to do. For me I want to be present, physically, emotionally and psychologically for them. When things are okay and I can manage the bills I don’t think about it so much. When I get depressed is when I can’t manage their needs and the money is not making sense.”

Alusa disclosed though he is done having kids he will not undergo a vasectomy. “The ones I live with are seven, I believe God gives you opportunity according to the responsibility he has given you. When I pray I say bring an eight figure salary. I really enjoy being a father. I’m done having kids, though I will not go for a vasectomy, I don’t want someone to massage me in areas they are not supposed to.“

The 42 year old is also shooting his family reality series, “The reality series is in the works. We have shot the pilot, it will be good entertainment just to show people that deadbeat mothers and fathers should reach out to their children. A child regardless of how they came is a blessing and they are given to the parent to be a caretaker for only a certain time.”
