Popular actress Veronica Mwaura spoke to Buzz Central about the challenges she has faced.

In an Interview with Cheptoek Boyo, the actress revealed after landing the role of Miss Obija on Tahidi High, she got injured in a car accident and was not able to walk, “There was a time I was called to do a certain role in Mother-in-Law that’s when I met producer Catherine Wamuyu, when I was done, she asked me if I would like to be a teacher then I was given a role in Tahidi High as the new teacher.

When I started Tahidi High in the beginning of 2014 I got injured in an accident. I had a pelvic fracture and I was determined to go back. The show producer Catherine Wamuyu wrote the script according to what I was going through.

Veronica had to wear diapers and walk in crutches while shooting the show, “I went on set and I shot in diapers because I was not able to go to the toilet. What she Wamuyu does not know is I was in diapers and a friend of mine who was a make up artist knew itI was also in crutches and people thought I was acting and sometimes I would meet people and they would say, ‘I thought you are acting’  when you do your work diligently favour comes to you.”
