TikToker Hoch Muhoro Escapes Death in Ghastly Road Accident

Popular Kenyan digital creator Hoch Muhoro, widely known as Hochdeh, is speaking out after surviving a harrowing road accident on the highway towards Sagana late Friday night. 

The TikToker, who walked away from the wreckage alongside a friend, is using the near-death experience to urge Kenyans to exercise caution on the roads, especially during the rainy season.

In an emotional social media post shared with his followers, Muhoro described the accident as a moment of divine intervention. “Last night I escaped death by a whisker. Honestly, I think it’s God’s way of reminding me that my purpose in this life is not yet fulfilled,” Muhoro said.

According to his account, the accident occurred while he and a friend were traveling on the highway towards Sagana. Heavy rainfall had left the roads dangerously slippery, and visibility was compromised. Muhoro said he ended up rear-ending a lorry. “It was raining heavily and the roads were slippery. I ended up hitting a lorry from behind. Honestly, it’s God that we were able to walk out alive, me and my friend,” he recounted.

Following the collision, Muhoro was taken to a hospital where he was examined and treated for what medical staff described as muscle injuries. He sustained a slight bruise on his head and reported persistent pain on his right side. “I have a slight bruise on my head and my right side is in a bit of pain. I went to the hospital, I was told it’s muscle injuries. I’m still in a bit of pain but I thank God everything is okay,” he stated.

While the physical injuries are manageable, he said the psychological toll of the incident. He described the shock of seeing the wrecked vehicle after the crash as a deeply unsettling experience. “I need to process this trauma a bit because seeing that car after the accident, it was a whole different experience,” he admitted.

He revealed that the accident served as a stark reminder of how quickly circumstances can change on the road. “One thing I want you guys to take from this is to be careful on the roads, especially now that it’s raining. Slippery roads can change anything in seconds,” he warned.
