PASTOR NG’ANG’A’S DAUGHTER SEEKS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SON’S MEDICAL TREATMENT

By  |

Pastor James Ng’ang’a firstborn daughter Naomi Wangari is reaching out to the Kenyans, seeking financial support for her six-year-old son, Jonathan Wise, who is battling B-ALL Leukemia.

In a YouTube video shared on December 2, Jonathan’s medical challenges began two weeks after his birth on January 20, 2018, when he was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma. The condition affected his one eye, leading to an urgent operation at six weeks old. Jonathan continued with the treatment for three years, that’s when the doctors recommended for a specialised treatment in India, where he underwent three operations.

Upon his return from India in May 2020, Jonathan had to go for operation six more times resulting in multiple admissions and tests, including bone marrow biopsies. November 20, 2023 during a routine review by a paediatrician, Jonathan was diagnosed with B-ALL Leukemia.

He is currently admitted at Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital. The cost of treatment is estimated at Sh4.5 million. Hence, the Jonathan medical appeal to help settle the hospital bill and help him continue with the treatment uninterrupted.
