Kenyan politician and former presidential candidate George Luchiri Wajackoyah has announced the graduation of his son, Lieutenant Obunga, from Campbell University in North Carolina.

The ceremony was attended by a strong turnout of Kenyans, fellow officers, and friends who gathered to celebrate the milestone. “Today we attended the graduation of our son Lieutenant Obunga at Campbell University North Carolina. We are praying that he will be commissioned as Lt. Colonel in the US Army soon. He has made us proud.

Wajackoyah, who himself holds 17 degrees, presented his book to Obunga in recognition of the achievement. He encouraged his son to continue progressing toward the next rank. “PhD is the way to go Lieutenant at your progress to the next rank of Colonel (Lt. Col) in the US Army.”

The politician also expressed pride in his daughter, who works at JP Morgan. “Proud of my little Angel. Thank you for being the best at JP Morgan. The power of the mind at the tender age and women rights is yours truly. You wrote, they read, you won.”
