LOLANI KALU ON THE REASON WHY JOURNALISTS LIVE A FAKE LIFE

By  |

Media personality and actor Lolani Kali sat down with Buzz Central and opened up on his life after retirement.

The Sultana actor said it is important to have money, “Age gives you respect and if you are blessed to live long, it is important to have money. The body no longer has the same energy as when you were young, it needs massages, a balanced diet and medicines and if you don’t have money it is hard. It is also important to exercise when you are young.

Lolani also advised journalists to stop living a fake life, “Journalists should accept themselves because once you accept who you are you will succeed in life but many journalists want to leave a fake life. When you are a journalist it comes with fame so many don’t want to live within their means, they feel ashamed and fans are the one who make them change because they don’t expect them to live an ordinary lifestyle. Some people even think you have direct access to the politicians and the president.”

The former NTV reporter also said he is not interested in working in newsrooms, That season is over for me, I don’t see myself working in the newsroom and being sent to cover stories but I would love to train young journalists.
