Bien Makes Dream US Open Debut in Ralph Lauren Style
Musician Bien-Aimé Baraza, fulfilled a lifelong ambition this week, attending the US Open for the very first time to witness tennis champion Coco Gauff light up the court.
“Watching the US Open has always been a dream. And we did it in style,” said Baraza.
The singer was dressed for the occasion by iconic American fashion house Ralph Lauren, the official outfitter of the US Open, a collaboration he celebrated with a shout-out to the brand for the “💧” (drip).
He was accompanied by an entourage he affectionately dubbed “the village,” led by the influential “Richest Aunty,” Achieng Agutu, who, according to Bien, “she must bring the village 🤣.”
The group had a front-row seat to what Baraza described as a masterclass in athleticism from Gauff, calling the young American star “poetry in motion.” The electrifying atmosphere of the night left a lasting impression, with the singer declaring, “What a night!!!!!”
He joked that his wife and manager Chiki Kuruka was plotting to “steal all these clothes,” but he noted with a laugh, “at least I wore them first.” He also gave a memorable, if unexpected, endorsement to the stadium’s chicken nuggets, which he said were a highlight not to be overlooked. “Definitely one for the books.“
