I DID NOT SQUANDER RUTH MATETE’S SH 5 MILLION TPF MONEY, SHE WAS BROKE SAYS EX-BOYFRIEND PRINCE TSYDER

Former Tahidi High actor and musician Prince Tsyder made headlines in 2012 when he started dating Tusker Project Fame season five winner Ruth Matete.

But after a few months, the two broke up and Tsyder moved on to date Shantelle and even had a baby with her.

Many assumed the actor dumped her because she was broke. Prince Tsyder now says the musician was already broke when they started dating, “When she won Sh5 million guys thought I squandered her money. When she was asked, she never addressed the allegations. To some point, she doesn’t even know if she messed up my life.

We were in a relationship and guys assumed I spent all her money. When I met her, she did not have any money. I don’t think Ruth is a stupid girl who will allow a man to come and squander her money.

She is not that stupid, at least she should have clarified I was a totally different guy. We had challenges just like any other relationships and if you realise I never spoke, my family even started to doubt me.”

Ruth also shared her experience after winning the money, “A few months after winning the so much coveted award, I started having feelings of regret there are days it used to be good and then some days, I wished I could turn back the hand of time so I don’t go for the auditions. I faced a lot of ridicule. Others including myself felt I should not have gone for that competition. But it was too late.

It had already happened I only could change the future but not the past. I chose to remain in church and serve God. 5 years down the line I now join the dots starting from behind, and I see that everything that happened was in the will and plan of God! the tears I cried. The pain, the heartaches, the self-condemnation. It was all part of a grander plan,” Matete wrote on social media.
