KENTY REVEALS WHY GOSPEL GROUP MOG BROKE UP

By  |

Legendary gospel music group MOG members – Tony, Kenty, and Boss – have opened up on why they decided to part ways despite enjoying a feat of success in the music scene.

Speaking on the behalf of the group in a recent interview, Kenty stated that they split to focus on other things and start their journeys individually. He says they are still in the music industry, but this time, working behind the scenes. “We didn’t decide that we are not doing music because we’ve even been working on music. Sometimes, a break is good. We decided to take a break and find out what each one of us can do.”

Commenting on the trends in the gospel industry, they noted that most gospel artistes have shifted to secular music but failed to criticise the ‘lost sheep’ saying that even when they quit the holy race, they will still return because God is the one who is in control and one’s life situation is purely dependent on divine providence and personal relationship with God.

On what they are currently doing to make ends meet, Tony says he is now an image consultant and a brand marketer. On the other hand, Kenty and Boss are film and music producers respectively. Boss is also an entrepreneur with interests in carpentry and finishing work.
