MAGIX ENGA OPENS UP ABOUT PAST STRUGGLES WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Music producer Magix Enga, known for his chart-topping hits, has opened up about his past struggles with substance use, particularly with marijuana (Weed).
In a recent interview with Mambo Mseto, Magix said contrary to popular belief weed is not good, “I used to smoke a lot of weed when I was at Magix Empire because I didn’t like the noise. I wanted to focus and make music but for someone who doesn’t understand its effects, you’ll never understand it.”
He called out Wajackoyah and Bensoul for misleading Kenyans, “I saw Bensoul and Wajackoyah say ‘weed is good’. I smoked a lot of weed and I know its effects. It makes you relaxed and you end up sleeping. It makes you a zombie. I would spend three days mastering a song, something that I used to do in a day.”
Adding, “They always lie. Bensoul should stop giving young guys depression. They will smoke weed and end up having paranoia. Because they smoked something they didn’t understand. I stopped smoking weed. Alcohol is also dangerous.”
