Winnie Odinga Makes First Visit to Father’s Grave

Winnie Odinga has made her first visit to the grave of her father, the late Raila Odinga, sharing a personal reflection on the experience.

In a post shared online, she revealed that the visit took her some time to make, and that what she anticipated as a routine check on construction work turned into something far more profound.

“Took me a while to get here. My first time visiting Dad’s grave. I thought I was coming to check on the construction. Turns out some things are still under construction in all of us. Pole pole. We keep building. We keep going ❤️”

She also reflected on a weekend spent with family, describing it as one filled with wisdom, laughter, and private conversations. “Three homes. Three remarkable minds. One very interesting weekend. A few visits, plenty of wisdom, some laughter… and conversations best left around the table. Let’s just say, the weekend was not as quiet as it looked. 😉”

Raila was buried on October 19, 2025 at his home in Bondo, Siaya County.
