DJ Shiti Mourns The Loss of His Father After 7-Year Cancer Battle

Kenyan comedian and actor DJ Shiti is mourning the passing of his father, Richard Ndede Mbanda, who died after a long and courageous seven-year battle with cancer.

The comedian announced the heartbreaking news in an emotional social media post, revealing that his father passed away on the morning of September 16. “My Old Man joined his ancestors yesterday morning, after battling cancer for 7 years,” DJ Shiti wrote. “One day cancer will also die… Rest In power Omwami Richard Ndede Mbanda.“

The news has drawn condolences from fans, fellow entertainers, and the wider Kenyan public, many of whom have followed DJ Shiti’s journey as he supported his father through years of treatment.
