I GAMBLED AWAY OUR RENT, CAR AND LAND-TERENCE CREATIVE

Comedian Terence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby sat down with Jalang’o and they talked about gambling addiction that drained their family finances.

Chebby said when she met Terence, he had gambling habits but she didn’t know the extent, “When I met Terence, he used to be a smoker and a gambler. He never used to stay with one phone, he used to sell them, he would pick one and goes to the shylocks to get the money and gamble.”

On one lucky night, he bagged 1.1 million but he never brought the money home, instead, he gambled it away. “I used to sell things to gamble some I can’t even mention. There is a day I gambled our rent, Chebet was going to Mombasa and she sent me money to pay the rent. I also gambled the money for our first car and land money,” added Terence.

Chebby says he was saved by her words of affirmation, “I just kept telling him his kids need a better version of him. Terence was never home he used to stay n the casino throughout. Word of affirmation actually build him.”
