By  |

Radio personality Mandi Sarro popularly known as Miss Mandi has for the first time explained why she quit her job as a presenter on Capital FM. She was hosting Hits Not Homework with Neville alongside DJ Roudge, DJ Joe Mfalme and Joe Kisila.

Miss Mandi said that the reason she quit her job is because she wants to focus on build her company, “November of 2020, I decided to quit my full-time job as a radio presenter on Capital FM to focus on being a CEO. I had to wear the big girl panties, right after I quit my job, I went on holiday in Malindi to decompress, to eat pizza, to be loved on and most importantly to really get clarity on what it is I want to do in 2021.

I just quit because everything has its season, I was outgrowing the season of wanting to be on radio. I really love the Capital family, I’m thankful for all the opportunities and risking taking they took on me. It was time for me to pour into myself and work on Miss Mandi Throwdown. Running a company is gonna require so much from me, I have to manage people.

I’m looking forward to see how my company I going to uplift other people. I excited to build something of my own, there is a lot of work ahead and I’m so nervous.”

Last year, the station killed its long-running evening show, Hits Not Homework, and replaced it with a new programme titled The Hype 984.
