‘THEY WERE RUBBISH INTERACTIONS’ SEAN ANDREW ON QUITTING DATING APPS

By  |

President Mwai Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew has revealed the reason why he left the dating app.

Speaking in an interview, the digital creator said he joined dating apps because of peer pressure from his friends, “Peer pressure even as adults, our friends still pressure us into things. Unfortunately I took myself in these apps and I left. We just swiped out of looks, we didn’t understand who we were and what we spoke about. You meet beautiful people but they are boring.

Sean called dating apps rubbish since people hardly meet, “They were rubbish interactions, it’s all conversations and it never leaves the app. You never meet and so why are you making nice connections? We are humans, we communicate in person there is no business about being locked in these electronic devices. When you are making a connection with someone you need to talk face to face, touch, feel and understand all five senses. I don’t think you get that from the app.

Though he is single, he is not searching, “I’m single and I am not searching actively, I am just myself. I’m building my own legacy and until I find a decent partner to build a legacy with, I am in no hurry to find someone.”
