KIRAITU MURUNGI’S DAUGHTER ANITA KENDI DIES

Anita Kendi Murungi, daughter of former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi, has passed away. 

The news has drawn an outpouring of condolences from across the political including a message from the President. Details surrounding her untimely death have not yet been officially released. 

In an official statement, the President mourned the loss, extending sympathies to the former governor and his family. “We extend our heartfelt condolences to former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi and his family following the untimely passing of his daughter, Anita Kendi Murungi,” the President said.

The statement continued: “The loss of a child, especially one so young, bright, and full of promise, is a profound tragedy that leaves an immeasurable void.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Murungi family during this difficult time,” the President’s statement added. “May they find strength in the support of family, friends, and all those mourning with them.”
