Cris Njoki Remembers Late Fiancé Guillaume Durand 3 Years After His Passing

Renowned fashion designer and founder of IKOJN, Cris Njoki, has paid a moving tribute to her late fiancé, Guillaume Durand, three years after his sudden passing. In an emotional post shared on her social media platforms, Njoki said,”3 years gone today, I miss you so much. Keep resting well my bear.”

The tribute comes exactly three years after Njoki first broke the news of Durand’s sudden death on July 16, 2023. Njoki had shared the heartbreaking news of her fiancé’s passing with the public.

“It is with immense sorrow I share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of my longtime partner and fiancé, Guillaume Durand. His loss has left a profound void in my life that words cannot express. Guillaume was an incredible father, son, my rock, my best friend and soulmate. His love, light, and presence reached our lives beyond measure.”

In the wake of the tragedy, Njoki had asked for privacy for herself and both families as they navigated their journey of grief. “I am eternally grateful for the beautiful moments we shared and the love we experienced together. Your messages of condolence and support are deeply appreciated during this incredibly difficult time. I ask for privacy for both our families and myself as we navigate this journey of grief.“

Rather than focusing solely on the sorrow of loss, Njoki encouraged those who knew Durand to celebrate his life and cherish the memories they shared with him, “Let us celebrate the extraordinary person Guillaume was by cherishing the moments we shared with him in his honour.
