Crazy Kennar Snaps Selfie with President Kagame
Kenyan content creator Crazy Kennar had a moment to remember after meeting Rwandan President Paul Kagame and capturing a selfie with the Head of State at the in Kigali.
Kennar, whose real name is Kennedy Odhiambo, was among the participants at the two-day gathering bringing together about leaders from across Africa, with 80% being young and emerging leaders .
Taking the floor, the comedian explained that his purpose was not to ask a question but to share an observation. “Mr President, my father usually says he believes content can take people places. I just request a selfie so that I can go and show him that I met the president of Rwanda,” Kennar said. President Kagame responded warmly with a smile: “I will give you two.”

Kennar walked to the front of the venue, and after some playful banter about whether the President would stand for the photo, the two posed for selfies, with Kennar leaning in alongside the Head of State. “It was an honor to meet the President of Rwanda, His Excellency Paul Kagame, at the Africa Mindset Reset Forum hosted by the African School of Governance,” he said after the event on social media .
Crazy Kennar, known for his observational humour and viral political skits, is one of Kenya’s most prominent digital content creators. He is also the creator of Happy Country, a comedy show that blends satire and hum-or to address social issues.
