MY WIFE JOAN AND I LIVE SEPARATELY BUT SHE STILL COOKS AND SENDS FOOD TO MY HOUSE SAYS SHAFFIE WERU
Homeboyz Radio programmes controller Shaffie Weru has opened up about his relationship with his baby mama Joan Jada. Speaking at an interview, Shaffie says he moved out of their home and they now live separately, though she still cooks for him and sends the food to his house.
“She is the mother of my child and she is an important part of my life. When I go for shopping, I have to shop for two houses, mine for manly stuff and other things just in case Nia comes over. But most of the things goes to Mama Nia’s house where Joan stays with Nia and Jabali. When I feel hungry, I just call her and food is delivered to my house with a boda boda.
We are in good terms, I left for a reason, she did nothing outrageous that would have made me leave. When its both of us in that house, the co-existence becomes super tricky. I respect her, I provide all my fatherly duties plus more. But I won’t agree to see her with someone else, she will have to move out.”
“I am not dating, for five years I have not been in a dating situation and I have not put myself in that scenario. Yes, I have gone out and found some people and they have ended up in that position where they thought in their head that we are in that situation but it never worked.
If I have not done that who is Mama Nia, unless we sit down and she tells me but I doubt there anyone in Nairobi who want to take that challenge. Ataweza aje? We have set standards the bar is too high.”
He regrets not being able to settle with one woman, “The fact that I can’t be able to settle with a particular person because I have two baby mamas and Debbie has another child called Chelsea who I adopted. When I was dating Joan, she had a child Jabali and I also adopted him.
If I get another lady in that equation it’s going to be super hectic and we are such a blended family. The mothers of my children are in my life whether they like it or not when they find someone, they give me my children and leave but in the meantime we are good.”
