MEN HIT ON ME BUT I TELL THEM I’M NOT A WOMAN SAYS KINUTHIA

Actor and content creator Kelvin Kinuthia opened up about his Tik Tok character and how he created his unique audience, “If you want to gain more followers on Tik Tok, you need to find something that people will love about you. People love me for what I do and the craziness,” he said. 

He also said that men have tried hitting on him, however he always cautions them. “Some men hit on me before the kula fare story was up and many were confused in my DM but I used to tell them that I’m not a woman,” said Kinuthia.

The content creator dismissed claims that he ‘ate fare’ worth Sh 344,000  and recalled how he learnt about the post, “I was in town when I received a phone call from my sister and she was like, ‘why haven’t you even sent me Sh50,000’ and I asked her ‘what for?’ and she told me I’m trending for conning someone Sh300,000. She sent me the poster through WhatsApp but I brushed it off. Little did I know that I was trending and people started contacting me. The messages and calls were too much forcing me to switch off my phone,” he said. 

Kinuthia also said that whoever came up with the story might be someone well known to him, revealing that he had just bought a new phone, “I think whoever came up with the story had been keeping up with me for some time. Because I was even surprised he wrote I bought a new phone and I had just purchased a new phone. Although I had shared on my Tik Tok and InstaStories and I think that’s where he got the information,” he added.

On why he choose a female character, he said, “Because it’s what people love about me and I also love that character.”
