‘I WILL NOT STAY IN A RELATIONSHIP JUST BECAUSE OF THE PUBLIC’ SAYS BETTY KYALLO’S BOYFRIEND NICK NDEDA

City lawyer Nick Ndeda has for the first time talked about his relationship with former K24 news anchor and businesswoman, Bettt Kyallo. Speaking in a recent interview, the lawyer discussed events that followed after going public with their relationship, saying that they never intended to go public. Ndeda disclosed that rumours surrounding their relationship forced them to come clean. 

“We were definitely coerced because we had agreed we never wanted to go public, like any other couple you do things together but we never wanted to come out and say we are an item, it was never our intention to do that. When that happened, we didn’t change how we interacted. We just carried on the way we used to except when the spotlight shines on you it just doesn’t stop and it didn’t stop for a long time but at some point we got normalcy back,” he said. 

Ndeda also said that dating a celebrity comes with a lot of pressure, further stating that he won’t stay in a relationship if it is not working just because he is dating a celebrity. “There is a lot of pressure, there are many people invested in the success and in the failure, naturally I don’t like failure, I’ve been through some stuff in the past and I know if a relationship doesn’t work, it doesn’t work and I won’t stay in it because of the public and what they are waiting to see and not see but there’s a lot of pressure,” Ndeda said. 

He also spoke on how he manages to keep his kids out of the limelight following his highly-publicised relationship with Betty. “That’s why I don’t post my kids, never have and never will, they live a very private life, I see them often, they come here, we hang out, I’m very close with my kids and I think Betty’s approach is different but for me I keep my kids out of it, they’ll never be seen anywhere,” he said. Both Ndeda and Betty were previously married.
