Isaya Yunge, the newly-wed husband of Charlene Ruto, has denied claims that he was previously married to a white woman and fathered a child whom he abandoned.

The clarification comes after social media personality Princess Nguemaa circulated photos and videos of Yunge holding a baby, alleging the child was his from a previous relationship.

Yunge stated that the child in question is his niece and belongs to his best friend and brother, Dr. David Wachira, who is married to a white woman. “You will have to apologise to my brother, Dr. David Wachira, for dragging his precious child to your hateful nonsense,Yunge said. “You play with people’s lives, but when you touch an innocent child and fabricate stories for clicks and likes, you have unleashed a lifetime enemy hunt.

He continued: “The angels protecting that child will dig you out, find you and punish you with the wrath of God. You won’t see angels coming but they are on assignment protecting God’s children. Look for the father of my beautiful innocent niece and apologise. You hate too much; you ended up attacking a Kenyan blood. The child is the limit of your nonsense psychopathic nature!”

Yunge explained that the photos showing him with the baby were taken when he was simply babysitting for his close friend. Online userss have since backed his version of events, with evidence confirming the child belongs to Dr. Wachira and his wife Cecilie.

The controversy erupted less than a week after Yunge’s high-profile traditional wedding to Charlene, daughter of President William Ruto, which took place on August 8, 2026, at their expansive Kilgoris farm .

Princess Nguemaa, who identifies herself as a niece of a former Guinean president, had been posting pointed comments on the couple’s wedding photos and leaking private conversations she claimed to have had with Yunge.

Yunge, a Tanzanian tech entrepreneur and founder of SomaApp, was recognised on the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list in 2018 and has built an international profile through his work in technology and youth empowerment.
