Popular actor Blessing Lung’aho has talked about his first experience shooting an international film. The actor shared his most embarrassing moment revealing how he was invited for lunch with a fellow actor only to realise he had to pay the bill.
“It was my first time in Europe and I didn’t know Europeans have this thing when they invite you for lunch it does not mean they are paying for the lunch. My cast-mate invited me and when we got to the hotel I decided to try new things, when the bill came he told the waiter to split it. He saw I was surprised and asked me if I was okay, the bill was about Sh17,000. I never talked to that guy on set again.”
He also said his dream was to act with veteran actor Ojwang, “During public holidays I used to see him with a mic and a scene partner and the stadium would go quiet. He was just flawless in the stadium as I saw him on TV. I used to see that as a kid I wanted to do that, to be in that situation and that calm. I was really disappointed that I never got to work with him but now it is Oliver Litondo.”
