RUGER, WAKADINALI & KAHUSH SET FOR SHOKE SHOKE FESTIVAL

Shoke Shoke Festival, Mwanaume Ni Effort’s green arm, is back again after the massive success of its debut festival. 

Dubbed Tomorrow with Shoke Shoke 2.0, the event will take place on September 9 at Uhuru Gardens. Official headlining act is Nigerian sensation Ruger and a fire Kenyan lineup that includes Wakadinali, Kahush and Lordwin. Ite, G-Money, CNG, Dream, and Nick Dee as the trusted DJs set to thrill fans with their sets.

Fans get a chance to nominate a local artist, who, on winning, will be part of the artist lineup. Fans have up to August 15 to get their favorite artist their moment. The Uhuru Gardens event will be a finale of mini-events that the organizers have planned to keep the sustainability conversation going using art, film, fashion, and more. Shoke Shoke has once again teamed up with Miti Alliance and pledged to plant one tree for each ticket sold. 

Since bursting onto the music scene, Ruger has delivered a series of smash hits that have resonated with fans worldwide. His breakout single, “Bounce,” catapulted him into the spotlight and garnered millions of streams across various digital platforms. The infectious rhythm and energetic vibe of the track immediately established Ruger as a force to be reckoned with. 

The Nigerian Afrobeat singer is known for his magnetic stage presence, infectious energy, and unique sound and has quickly become a fan favourite for Kenyans. This will be Ruger’s third performance in Kenya.
