AZZIAD NASENYA MEETS ARIANA GRANDE & CYNTHIA ERIVO AT WICKED PREMIERE

Kenyan content creator Azziad Nasenya had a star-studded moment as she graced the London premiere of the highly anticipated film Wicked. 

Azziad shared a video with global icons Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who play leading roles in the musical-turned-movie. In a video shared on her social media platforms, Azziad shared her excitement, captioning the clip: “We’re gonna be popular 😍😍 It was such an honor ❤️😍 @wickedmovie #universalpartner #wickedmovie”. 

The video shows Azziad engaging warmly with Ariana and Erivo, creating a buzz among her followers and fans of the movie. Wicked is a 2024 American musical fantasy film directed by Jon M. Chu, and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. It is the first of a two-part film adaptation of the stage musical Wicked by Stephen Schwartz and Holzman, loosely based on the 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire; which in turn is based on L. Frank Baum’s 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, its sequels, and its 1939 film adaptation.

Set in the Land of Oz, the film covers the musical’s first act and stars Cynthia Erivo asElphaba Thropp and Ariana Grandeas Galinda Upland. Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Marissa Bode, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum feature in supporting roles.
